SPATIAL
SERVICE DESIGN
we need each other.
Guided by the interdependent rhythms of the natural world, the Artists Cooperative for Regenerative and Emergent Strategy [ACRES] aligns around the core guiding principles of care, collectivism and cooperation. We are artists, researchers, problem-solvers, facilitators, healing practitioners and cultural workers, an iterative service design and world building cooperative that grounds in practice while dreaming, designing and iterating towards imaginative, expansive and liberated futures.

INUITIVE.
ACRES’ programs connect artist with organizer, scientist, architect and neighbor building bonds across sector, generation and cultural difference to establish cultural understanding and co-design strategic and sustainable service offerings. We're happiest when working in person to collaborate on “quality of life” programs that activate public space in ways where art and social practice become a vehicle for not only dreaming but embodied practice.
INTENTIONAL.
ACRES orients around an evolving thesis that states when we go slow, we’re able to take better care of ourselves and each other. We believe going slow, leading with inquiry and active listening (to believe) supports us in seeing each other more fully so we can understand, identify shared purpose and truly exhibit our collective power. Centering truth & healing as a pathway to liberation, ACRES brings decades of experience with digital, spacial, program and service design having designed city wide art installations, programmed transformative micro festivals and produced various service based initiatives from inquiry and vision to execution and reiteration. Our projects are artist led, neighbor centered and experimental modeling the ways we might want to experience and remember each other for generations to come. In essence, we’re dreaming of a new world while buidling it; a world where we as artists, organizers and educators have our basic needs met with ease so, that together we can be free and in service to humanity.
